 DETERMINERS



 Determiners is one part of the part of speech that is used to determine the kinds of one or a group of nouns ( noun ) in English sentences . Determiners used to clarify something that we're talking about becoming clearer . in general, the use of determiners is used to expresses how many people or objects ( things ) you are talking about . In conclusion , determiners is part of the part of speech is used to indicate quantity ( quantity / number ) in English sentences.
Different Determiners with pronouns , as determiners always followed by a noun ( noun ) . Both Personal Pronoun ( I, you , they , we , he , she , it ) and possesive pronouns ( mine , yours , theirs , ours , his , hers , its ) both are not determiners.

You can use determiners when you already know the precise ( specific ) either object or person where you are talking about .In general, the use of determiners is used to expresses how many people or objects ( things ) you are talking about . In conclusion , determiners is part of the part of speech is used to indicate quantity ( quantity / number ) in English sentences .


General and Specific determiner

Being in front of a noun , noun phrase determiner menentukkan whether the establishment of general or specific nature . General noun phrase can be formed from the general determiner , while specific noun phrase of specific determiner .

Specific Determiner

definite article (the): noun which is believed to discuss the reader / listener to understand that meant

Did he enjoy the show?
demonstrative adjective (this, that, these, those): noun explained in terms of distance and / or number

Those apples are so red.
possessive adjective (my, your, his, her, its, our, dan their): show ownership .
Your jacket is in the laundry basket.
